There’s that famous quote, about hating writing but loving having written something.

“I hate writing, I love having written.”

I wholeheartedly disagree.

Whether it’s covering topical entertainment news or weaving meaning through an in-depth interview feature, I come alive in the process. My fuel is crafting the perfect sentence and conveying meaning through a beautiful string of letters.

I see the hope of the media industry, despite the somewhat pessimism-inducing times we’re facing. I’ve seen firsthand that when packaged correctly audiences still want quality storytelling. They’re craving for it actually, just as much as we as writers are craving to deliver it.

My goal for my career is to continuously find that sweet spot of connecting to readers while also pushing the boundaries of storytelling.
